Islamic Center of Western Suburbs

Alhamdullillah, Islamic Center of Western Suburbs(ICWS) is organizing activities and serving the needs of the Muslims of Western Suburbs of Chicago since 1993. Some of our activites are weekly Quranic study, Islamic books and audio/video library, Jumuah, Taraweeh and Eid Prayers, Special events, Tarbiyah, Dawah and Charity.

A brief description of all the activities is below:

Quranic Study:
Every Saturday between 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM. Speaker: Dr. Hafiz Nasir Iqbal Bakshi.

Quarnic Studies and Yout Meetings:
Every 1st Sunday of the month.

Library:
To increase Islamic knowledge, we have a good library of Islamic books, magazines, newspapers, audio/video collections.

Prayers:
We hold regular Jumuah prayers, Taraweeh prayers during Ramadan and Eid prayers at Bartlett Park District.

Dawah and Charity:
ICWS organizes seminars and invites people to have better understanding of Islam, actively participates in interfaith dialogues and with its limited resources tries to help needy people.

Tarbiyah and Special Events:
ICWS arranges annual training sessions especially for Muslim youth and women to get deep and practicing knowledge of Islam.

Officiating Nikahs (Marriage Ceremony):
ICWS also officiates Nikahs.
